WVLMS is warning its members of a recent case of phone harassment targeting a broker.
Safety Concern: A fellow member notified WVMLS on September 15, 2022, with a safety concern for their fellow members. An individual filled out a contact form on their website. The member reached out by phone and by email. Shortly after, the individual started texting them inappropriate and vulgar messages. The member blocked the number but the harasser proceeded to call them from a blocked number many times repeatedly leaving long vulgar messages.
Be aware that telephonic harassment is a Class B misdemeanor in Oregon under ORS 166.090.
