Ronda’s Risk Advisory: “Home Energy Score” Requirements Vary

In early 2022, WVMLS added a specific field to publish Energy Scores in our listing database. Energy Scores can be viewed on different Paragon reports including Full Detail, and the field can be added to any spreadsheet by a Paragon user.

Please be aware that publishing the Home Energy Score is currently REQUIRED by some cities or municipalities, but the field cannot be set as a “required” field in Paragon, so it’s incumbent on listing brokers to know the applicable requirements based on their listing location, and to update their listings accordingly.
