Paragon Feature Highlight: Advanced Search Functions

Did you know there are more ways to search in paragon? These Advanced Search functions will allow you to better define how you want your results filtered.

What do they look like?

Freeform Fields

Examples of these types of search fields are Parcel # and Address.

Advanced Options

Contains: Will behave the same as it always has.

Equals: Will make the search literal. (I.E. Input "Hyacinth" into address and it will look for an exact address spelled "Hyacinth," excluding all other results).

Not Equal To: The opposite of Equals, this will exclude the value inputted and include results that don't match.

Contains All: Acts like Contains, except it takes the entire supplied value. (I.E. The Input "Red Door" under Contains would look at "Red" or "Door", while under Contains All, it would look at both "Red" and "Door").

Starts With: Will only look for results where the it starts with the supplied criteria.

Not Starting With: Just like Equals or Not Equal To, this is the exclusionary version of Starts With, allowing you to exclude results that start with the supplied criteria.

Does Not Contain: This is the exclusionary of Contains, allowing you to supply criteria you don't want included in the results.

Look Up Fields

Examples of lookup fields include MLS #, Type, Area, City, County.

NEW Advanced Options

Equals: Will behave the same as it always has.

Not Equal To: Will exclude the supplied criteria. (I.E. If you wanted to look for all listings in Marion county but exclude Keizer results, you could choose Not Equal To in conjunction with an Equals County criteria).

Date Range Fields

Examples of date range fields include Listing Date, Status Date.

NEW Advanced Options

Date Range: Will behave the same as it always has.

7 Days Back - 24 Months Back: Will quickly allow you to look the specified # of days/months back.

Last Month: Will look at results within the last calendar month. (I.E. If the Present is August, it will grab results matching July)

Last Year: Will look at the results within the last calendar year (I.E. If the Present is 2023, it will grab results matching 2022)

This Month: Will look at the results within the current month (I.E. If the Present is August, it will grab results matching August).

This Year: Will look at all matching results within current year. (I.E. If the Present is 2023, it will grab results matching 1/1/2023-12/31/2023

Year-to-Date: Will look at all matching results upto current day within current year. (I.E. If the Present is 2023, it will grab results matching 1/1/2023-Current Day)

Next 7 Days: Will look at all matching results that contain future dates.

Next 30 Days: Will look at all matching results that contain future dates.

New Report View: Residential 2-Page Full Detail

A New Report View has been made available within Paragon. Titled "2-Page Full Detail" this view gives a more comprehensive look at a listing's details. Details on this view:

• This view is currently only available for Residential Class, but when chosen will display the original Full Detail for other classes. Other classes will be added over time.

• Often requested information such as Private Remarks and Showing Information is closer to the top of the report.

• The second page displays Syndicated Remarks (Public Remarks + Extended External Public Remarks), All Features, Sold Information, and 3 additional images.

• The "skittles" originally found under the Primary Image on Full Detail are now placed in relation to relevant areas. (I.E. Walkscore, Supra, and Map are next to the Showing Information).
  

To access this view click the green "Reports" drop down and then click to expand the "Details" category (pictured below).

You will then scroll down to the bottom of the "Details" category and select "2-Page Full Detail". If you'd like to be able to easily access this report view click the Star icon to favorite it, which will place it in your favorites category at the top of the reports menu (pictured below).

Want to set this as your default view? Navigate to Preferences -> System in the Main Menu at top (pictured below).

Then navigate to "Result Options" (pictured below) and under the section "Listing Detail Results" click the drop down menu and select "2-Page Full Detail", remember to Save to finalize your new Default.

PSA: Paragon Center Section

When logging into Paragon Professional the Center Section aka Home Page Message (pictured below) is designed in a way to allow us to bring you an elevated navigation and communications experience. To be able to achieve this the method used sometimes gets flagged as a false positive by Antivirus software. Usually this is indicated by a pop-up window from your Antivirus software or the Center Section not loading at all.

To solve these false positives you'll add the below websites as an exception, exclusion, or to the whitelist of your Antivirus software: https://wixwvmls.wixsite.com/wvmlsblogsite

If you do get a pop-up from your software, most will give the option to add an exception, exclusion, or add to a whitelist on that pop-up. If you do not get a pop-up either contact WVMLS with the name of your antivirus software and we will guide you on how to add it or do a internet search with your software name and "How to Add a Website Exception, Exclusion, or Add to Whitelist" to find steps.
