This update focuses heavily on the Market Insights Dashboard see below for the comprehensive list of what's new:

  • New Design!

    • The chart area is bigger to make long time series easier to read.

    • All the interactive options have been consolidated to the top, making navigation easier.

  • New Category Comparison Charts

    • Compare any series breakout on a column chart by time period.

    • Multiple standard breakouts: Property Type, Geographies, New Construction, Waterfront, Close Price Premium, Cash Sales, Financing, DOM Range, and more.

    • Percent from Original/List Price Received:  A more visually impactful way to view Percent of Original/List Price Received

    • Percent of Original Received:  A good look into initial seller optimism

    • Days on Market (Closed):  Domus traditionally reports DOM on the Pending month, but we've added reporting on the Close month to align to what the MLS platforms report

    • Days in Escrow: Just how long are listings sitting around from pending to close?

    • List to Close Days:  End to end, how long are your clients waiting from the day they list their house until they get a check?

    • Mortgage Payment (PI):  Historical trends on mortgage can help your clients make more informed decisions. (doesn't include taxes & insurance)

    • Mortgage Rate:  Track the historical rates without going to a different tool to do it.

    • Concessions:  Several metrics to help sellers decide how much to offer and buyers decide how much to ask for.

    • Absorption Rate: Sometimes referred to as "Odds o Sell", it's the units sold divided by the active listings.  (v5.1 and higher)

    • Pending Inventory: How many listings are in a Pending status at the end of each time period?  (v5.1 and higher)

    • Median Living Area: What's the median living area of closed listings?  (v5.1 and higher)

  • Integrated Weekly Dashboard!  (v5.1 and higher)

    • No more going to a separate dashboard to report on weekly market updates.  Plus you have access to all the same filters now, just remember, stats are more economically valid when they include more data rather than less, so don't use too many of those filters at once!
